Bergteamet is responsible for tunneling and production in the Fäbodtjärn mine

May 2 2024 was a historic day. That was when the very first blast was fired to begin tunneling toward the ore in Fäbodtjärn.

The bus terminal is located completely under the ground and will accommodate both passengers and bus traffic.

Air-driven Simba yields successful results

At the beginning of the year, Bergteamet carried out rock drilling work for LKAB in Malmberget. Over three months, approximately 6000 meters were drilled with a Simba M6 long-hole rig equipped with an air-driven down-the-hole hammer.

Sweden´s deepest mine becomes even deeper

Renström mine has long been Sweden’s deepest mine. Now it is becoming even deeper. From the current 1500-meter level, Bergteamet is developing the deep ramp to the new 1700-meter level on behalf of Boliden Mineral AB.

Here 75.000 meters of cable bolts are installed

To achieve the best results, seven-meter-long cable bolts are used, which are installed in the ceiling from springline to springline.
